About Us

Overview

It's our mission to provide the best orthopaedic care available anywhere. Our physicians completed their training in the best hospitals in the United States. We all have sought additional subspecialty training in order to provide the most outstanding care possible. We strive to help you get back to your chosen activities in a timely fashion and to do this in a warm environment.

Problems in the musculoskeletal system can have a variety of causes and a number of possible treatments. We want to help you as soon as possible, so each of our offices is equipped with X-ray facilities. We also have fluoroscopy ("moving" x-ray) and MRI equipment at our main office in Southfield. We work closely with several imaging facilities to make other tests such as CT scans and ultrasounds available in a timely fashion.

Once a diagnosis has been made, a number of different treatment approaches may be required. Although many of us are orthopaedic surgeons, most often, no surgery is needed. Our goal is to provide a well rounded treatment approach. We apply casts and braces in the office, so there is no need to worry about being sent somewhere else for that. We have physical therapy and pain management providers and facilities on site in our Southfield office. We collaborate with our pain management and physical medicine colleagues who also provide care in our offices to decrease your pain and increase your function as soon as possible.

If we discuss your problem and recommend surgery, all of our surgeons operate at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak; the WBH Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is ranked the #1 orthopaedic surgery department in Michigan by U.S. News and World Report. We are very proud to report that several of our physicians also are regularly listed in the Hour Magazine Top Doctors listings.

Although our primary goal is outstanding patient care, many of us also are active in research. As part of our effort to provide our patients with the best and most advanced treatment available, we are involved in a number of ongoing research projects. Patients occasionally are asked to participate in these trials; we appreciate your help, but rest assured that your level of care will not change in any way if you choose not to participate.

Finally, we dedicate our time to educating orthopaedic surgeons in training. This teaching involvement stimulates the very best in us as role models for the next generation of surgeons. William Beaumont Hospital is a teaching hospital, and you might encounter our residents and fellows during any or all aspects of your care. Your surgery will be performed by your attending physician you meet in the office, who sometimes is assisted by a resident or fellow. All activities of surgeons in training are supervised, and we appreciate you helping us to train these dedicated health care providers of the future.
